Children and Young People's Partnership
The Children and Young People’s Partnership was established at the end of 2006 in response to the statutory requirement contained in the Children Act 2004. Its key responsibility is to improve the outcomes for children and young people (aged 0-25) across Carmarthenshire and implement the single Children and Young People’s Plan 2008 – 2011.

The Local Safeguarding Children's Board
The aim of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board is to improve outcomes for children by co-ordinating the work of local agencies to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and ensuring the effectiveness of that work.
