All Wales Stationery and Copier Framework

On the 30th September 2008 Carmarthenshire's current framework for Office Supplies will come to an end.

From the 1st October 2008, Carmarthenshire County Council will be joining the All Wales Stationery and Copier Framework, and as a result Lyreco have been appointed as the preferred supplier for Carmarthenshire for the duration of the Framework - 1st October 2008 until the 30th May 2010, with a possible extension of up to 2 years.

Please note there have been considerable changes to the new core list, see attached. It is important to note that a number of products you were once able to purchase from the core list are not included on the new core list, instead an alternative product is available.Attached is a summary of the major product changes with alternative suggestions for ease of reference.

You will notice a number of products have incurred a price increase, this is due to the fact that under the current contract Carmarthenshire secured fixed prices for four years for all Stationery items and therefore an increase in prices is now being realised, we have tried to minimise this as much as possible. There is therefore even more importance to purchase off the core list and choose Lyreco's own branded items, IMPEGA, where ever possible.

Please note that for items not included on the core list these will be subject to the following discounts:-
All Stationery and Paper items will received 40% discount off branded products and 50% discount off own-brand products (IMPEGA). Please note however, exceptions apply to Conference, Planning and Presentation Products which will be subject to a 30% discount off branded and 50% off own-brand, and Business machines will be subject to 10% discount off both branded and own-brand products.

In addition there is now A4 Recycled Coloured Copier Paper included on the core list.
