Welcome to Tumble Primary School
The school provides education for pupils between the ages of three and a half to eleven years. The school is located in Heol Y Neuadd in the centre of the village. It opened in 1913. There are 126 pupils on the school roll.
Aims
To create a happy school environment that will promote the intellectual, emotional, physical, social and spiritual development of each child to his/her maximum potential.
To foster in each child the motivation to learn and improve their knowledge.
To provide opportunities for every child to develop to their full potential through a wide and varied programme of exciting, interesting and relevant experiences.
To foster self-esteem and respect towards others whilst developing positive attitudes and values.
To ensure that each and every child has access to a wide, varied and balanced curriculum.
To develop language skills to enable pupils to communicate effectively. This includes speaking and listening, reading and writing.
To develop skills, knowledge and understanding of mathematical concepts.
To develop in children an awareness and appreciation of their community, language, traditions and culture as well as their environment.
To raise awareness of the importance of personal hygiene, appearance, manners, morals and good behaviour.
To foster close links between the school, the home and the community.
