Welcome to Hendy County Primary School

Welcome to our website.

Ysgol Yr Hendy was established in 1912. There are currently 140 pupils at the school.

The school accommodates the areas of Hendy, Fforest, Llanedi and the surrounding rural areas.

The school provides for Year 1 to 6 as well as Reception and Nursery Classes. All children will be accepted from the above areas and through parental choice.

The school is on one complete level. The main building has 9 classrooms and a school hall, within one of the classrooms we have a computer suite. We also have a library area. Another one of the classrooms is used for an indoor Under Fives area.

There are plenty of outdoor playing areas, these include the playground, a large playing field, an Under Fives area, netball court and a conservation area.
