Our School

Carway Primary School is situated in the Gwendraeth Valley, which is a rural part of Carmarthenshire. There is plenty to see and do in the vicinity e.g. Pembrey Country Park, where there's a ski slope and a racing track; Glynn Abbey Golf Club; and Kidwelly Castle.

Aims and Objectives

Carway School is a school which aims to:

• Care for all children.
• Provide a broad and balanced curriculum in order to nurture lively, enquiring minds and to encourage application to tasks.
• Encourage every child to develop as an individual and in so doing acquire understanding, knowledge and skills relevant to adult life.
• Emphasise learning and academic success so that language and number can be used effectively.

• Support close community links.
