'Teulu Strade' Pilot Scheme
Using Amdro to manage information and promote transition within families of schools.
Amdro is a Content Management System capable of holding and displaying information and images in a variety of formats. You are currently within the Learning section of Amdro, the content of which is managed by members of the LEA Advisory Team, together with contributions from various schools.
The School Websites section of Amdro can also be used as a vehicle to host school websites, whereby schools are given publishing permissions over their own folder and content is added to this folder by schools themselves. Again, being a Content Management System, you simply add articles, images, attachments and sub-folders to build up your own mini-site.
A pilot scheme was run with 'Teulu Strade' - Strade School and all its feeder schools in the Autumn of 2005. As a result, the family of schools now has its own mini-site holding information in relation to prospectuses, contact details, images from around the schools, a timetable of dates and electronic copies of letters to parents.
